β€œthose incalculable wounds of light

that never stop bleeding

into tomorrow.”

What an image. I had to stop and read those lines again. Darkness and hope somehow occupying the same sky... loved that.

Lyrical. Haunting. Beautiful. I'M SUBSCRIBING!

I write at The Reflective State, where one of my ongoing series is Mountain Mysteriesβ€”atmospheric tales of mystery, folklore and the unexplained set in the mountains of India.

If curiosity ever brings you my way, I'd genuinely love to know what you think.

I like your work; it always makes me think. The kind of thinking that requires a long pause and a gaze toward the heavens. As always, well done.

Thank you so much @Randee Herrin! I believe that is exactly the kind of pensiveness I am trying to produce with the most of my writing, successful or otherwise. I always appreciate hearing when it hits and I think your writing does the same for me in a different way. It feels delicate and soft and warm. Like a sunny spider web. Is that weird? I am weird, so it’s probably weird.

The choice made that caused me to pause, β€œpoets” for poems. That’s where I most felt the haunting in the verse but also whimsy / play / hope. I saw many baby poets or poets as many as poems in the world. I loved this.

To me, this feels like autumn turning into a philosophy of survival. The world breaks, the light bleeds, and poetry somehow keeps multiplying. Absolutely magnificent.
